In the process of introducing Chinese language and culture to foreign Chinese learners, we have realized the importance of working with local teachers, authors, and publishers who all can contribute to create some wonderful teaching materials for local Chinese teaching. We are therefore very glad to work with Chinese Language Publishing Ltd for the ULearnChinese project. ULearnChinese consists of six books which are written according to British foreign language teaching style, and are purposely created for young learners. We are very happy with the quality, method, and structure etc. There is no doubt that ULearnChinese books will encourage more British students to learn Chinese language and culture, which will surely help British students to have better understanding of China. To aim towards the future, this will build a solid foundation for future economic and cultural exchange between China and the UK. |
